FINISHING
If you want to cover the back of the parchment paper with a paper in the same colour as the cut-out card, cut the artwork 1 cm (3/8 in) smaller on all sides. This will still allow space to fix it with glue or double-sided tape behind the aperture. For a backlit effect, cut a corresponding opening in the cover and stand the open card where it will catch light from behind. If you wish, decorate the front of the card with a greeting in Tinta gold or silver using calligraphic handwriting.
TIPS
• If necessary, use the tracing pen and Tinta silver to touch up parts of the print where the printing and embossing step did not work properly.
• To avoid grease on the parchment paper, put a tissue or a sheet of paper underneath your hand while working.
